Inspired by unique connections to Israel

Painting takes an imported part of my life. I had solo exhibitions and collective exhibitions in well-known galleries and museums in Israel.

In my life I juggle physics and photography. I grew up in Russia and moved to San Diego, USA in 1992 to join UCSD, where I remain ever since. Thanks to my scientific work, I have been blessed to be able to travel the world and see and photograph many amazing places. My photos have been exhibited in a number of group and solo exhibitions, won photographic awards and published in books and magazines.

Canadian born, I bring these references with me, incorporate the patience of Winnipeg where I was born and the beauty of Vancouver where I grew up, with the captivating character of the people and daunting history of the place where I live now.
